Technical Lost Keys

Can anyone help as to the best way to get over the problem of a lost ignition key.
I can get a new ignition barrel ok, but how do I get the old barrel out? or can I simply get a new key from the VIN number?

At least you don't have an imobiliser to worry about like the bravo boys!

Use a Haynes Manual to get the barrel out.

You need to dismantle the steering column trim, undo 4 phillips screws should do the trick I think.

Yep you can get a new ignition barrel. What size engine do you have? Is it pre or post 93? I'll get you a price and the product code.

You're looking at £80 for the ignition barrel and £40 for a set of locks.
