Hi everyone, I had a very worn-out clutch on my 2008 1.3mjet grande punto. But I've been driving like that for a while now.
Yesterday I had an issue on motorway where I couldn't rev up the engine. Just on random moments it wouldn't respond to my throttle input. Like not at all. I press the throttle pedal to the floor nothing happens on the dash nor I hear the engine revving up.

I then realised I have to slowly press the pedal, milimeter by milimeter and then it revs up like always.

Anyone has any idea what can it be? I know that I have to do my clutch but this doesn't look like a clutch issue to me. If it was clutch I could at least see or hear revs but they wouldn't be able to get transmitted to the road.
