Technical looking for turbo

Hi all, 1996 1.9td. turbo kaput. anybody any ideas on tracking a replacement. not too keen on second hand unless guaranteed. any help would be appreciated as my garage are a bit stuck 'cause of age of van. All the Best, Ian.

Can your own unit not be refurbished?

If it’s not beyond repair, here is one of several turbo specialists Click Here that come up in a Google search for your area.

If your own unit is completely goosed, what about a 2nd hand unit and send that for refurb?

Beware of cheap imitations from overseas, even if the price is oh so very tempting.

Albeit sometime ago, I have personally used this company Midland Turbo for re-manufacturing.

Do you have the serial numbers off the tag?

Hi again, Thank you so much for your replies and advice. My garage is, already, trying the refurb route. As I trust them, and have done for many years, I'm going to leave them to get on with it.
