I'm sorry, but there's no such thing as an off the shelf 'kit' to turbo your Uno, or any car for that matter. The closest was a company called Van Aaken who used to do a turbo conversion for the Cinquecento Sporting but they have long since gone bust. The conversion price when it was available was something like £1500 - £2000 as well - you can but a very nice Uno Turbo for that kind of money. Your best bet is to find all the factory Fiat Uno Turbo parts and do proper conversion.

For instance, you could get this:

Bear in mind that the cost of conveting your 1108cc FIRE engine to run a turbo would probably cost way more than finding a complete and running Uno Turbo engine. Plus it won't be as powerful and to do the job properly you would need to completely rebuild your current engine and fabricate parts to make the conversion work.

Also, it cannot be emphasized enough that there is far more to doing a turbo conversion than just the engine. You need to make sure the suspension and brakes are also uprated to cope, otherwise you'll have a car that won't be able to handle the power and will likely put you in a ditch. If you really want a turbo Uno then you have two options:

1. Buy a proper Uno Turbo

or

2. Buy a rottem but running Uno Turbo and swap all the engine, running gear and mechanicals into your 5 door shell.

This is probably not the answer you're looking for but there really is way more to turbo'ing an engine than just bolting on a turbo unit. A better option perhaps would be to fit the 1242 16v engine, as this is almost a bolt in swap requiring only additional wiring to make the whole thing work.

Good luck :)

hi thanks yes i am aware i need brakes and cv joints ect to mach the power , i was told i could put a 1.2 palo engine in would fit in nicely with minimum modification , is tht the engine you are refering to? also nt sure hw much the engine will put me back , was thinking of puting a 275 cam in my uno , should i do tht for the time being?

Did the uno turbo's use a FIRE engine? For turboing ideas see the Cento section, they have a FAQ on turbos too. or perhaps a Punto GT transplant? Like 1986uno said, your better off buying a car with a turbo instead of converting. unless you have a lot of time, money and knowledge it will be pointless to even start
