lockwood dials

right here my problem ive bought lockwood dials in white and the original plan was for my blue leds to shine thru but on the back of the dials it is green, has anyone been able to remove the green backing or know of any methods to remove it.

in a word- NO- you cant. I tried it with my old Punto

You can only do it if the lockwoods have white numbering on them. (i.e. i had blue dials whth white numbers)
so it lets the blue shine through. It will work to an extent but the light will be very dull
