Just had to change a tyre as on my way home the pressure alarm went off. FYI there is a shiny metal cap over the locking bolt and I could not get it off, tried prising it to no avail!
Went to the locking nut box in my garage ( no point carrying all the old ones around) to find a black plastic 2 piece tool in it for removing said cap....
So if you ever have a puncture and have to change your tyre at the side of the road, make sure you have the special tool with you or take off the shiny metal cap now!

Interesting ... if there is a wheel locking nut with a cover over it there should be a tool for removing the cover located with the jack. At least that has been the situation with every other car I've owned. I know that my 500X did not come with a removal tool, so I checked the wheel bolts after exposing them by removing the centre cap cover on a wheel. There are NO locking nuts fitted to my 500X. Maybe this is a market- specific issue. Weird all the same if you have locking nuts and your car was not supplied with a cap removing tool in with the jack etc.

My 500X Cross Plus came with locking bolts that have NO over slip over top covers.

Fiat seem to supply locking bolts as an option. my car came with a little case with the "key" and the four original non-locking bolts. It's not that bad an idea to carry them you could loose a bolt or have a damaged locking one on removal.
