General location of paint code

hi,
im currently getting a fiat marea hlx back onto the road after buying it as a cat c insurance. could you tell me where i can find the plate with the paint codes on i was told it was in the boot but cant find it.

thats what i thought but i went to a paint spray place and he said it was in the boot

on the weekend its on the top of the tailgate inside....

on the saloon its a "chrome" sticker on the inside of the boot lid.
