Tuning limit

Hi guys.
I was wondering is it posible to make a 1.1 uno limit like an opel corsa?

I might look a little dumb here, but could you explain your question again in different words please - what is "limit" in this context?

Ok well. You know on the corsa if you put ur foot flat on the accelerator, when it reaches a certain rev it will make a ba ba ba ba sound haha maken my self seem retarded. But I don't know how else to explain it. Hope that helps

Ah, a rev limiter!

Uno Turbo Mk2 has a rev limiter, the other versions do not (as far as I recall). I don't know if anyone's ever created one - it would be easy in theory to apply one designed for any coil-ignition engine (a small electronic box could intercept the signal to the ignition coil, measuring its frequency (revs) and breaking the circuit when a rev limit is exceeded). As above really,omex also make a rev limiter that i know has been used on mk1 uno turbos,you would have to look into it but i think it will also work on your car.

They also make one with a launch control limiter...

Ok so basically what I found was that you can buy universal rev limit kits online.... Didn't know that! But anyway. Thanks for the insite guys

i used to have a omex rev limiter on my mk1 uno turbo, sounded metal when you hit it and would spit flames, was ridiculously loud and would scare people

prob would be a bit naff on a 1.1 and pointless
