Anyone got any experience of LED bulbs in a Bravo?

Amber indicator bulbs?
Stop/Tail bulbs?

Are they a lot less bright that standard bulbs?

Cheers, Diggler

Funny you should say that cuz i bought a couple of LED blubs today from halfords. Thought they would look deadly in the bravo. I tried to get LED'S for rear side lights too but they didnt have such a thing so just bought the 16LED(RED) bulbs for the brake lights. They cost €10 each and they look ok but you cant really tell that they are LED'S cuz of the thick casing. They produce a nice colour but are just slightly dimmer than the halogen bulbs. Not a problem though. Its worth the money cuz they last a hell of a lot longer

i have led sidelight bulbs, they are good but they always look blue/purple even though they are supposed to be bright white. This is the third set ive had and they are all the same

Do Halfords accept Euros now then? :)

I have LED sidelights which i bought from www.ultraleds.co.uk Stay away from the Halfords ones and ebays cheap-o-nasties they are crap in colour. Stay away.

The LED's i have are bright white with a hint of blue, however they compliment my HIDs perfectly.

Joske - which ones did you order from that site?

Many to choose from!!!

ultraleds are good, you need type 501 ultimate brightest whitest, or something named similarly. beware that if you are using anything hotter than bog standard h1 bulbs, they'll make the leds blow too quick, as the h1 bulbs get quite hot
these look a little blue unless you have hids in which case they blend. dont get blue, or even tinted ones, as they are blu enough, and you'll cop it from the gestapo

Sorry when I say euro its because I live in Ireland and we get Halfords too.
The LEDS i got from Halfords are nothing to jump up and down about. Im sure you could do a lot better (as mentioned above)

Diggler i got these currently in my bravo to compliment my HIDs.

Since i have Fiat Marea poly headlights the sidelights are in a seperate part to the main beam HID bulb or Halogen bulb if you havent got HIDs.

Now the standard Fiat Bravo lights the sidelight and halogen are combined so beware that the LED can and will go faulty due to excessive heat from the Halogen.

If you have marea lights go for it.

I thought it was just me that had this problem! :)

I found the outer casing of my led sidelights melted one night and stopped them working.

So that link is the correct marea light is it? The crystal clear one or whatever?

Yes

That link is correct one for Marea lights. Not exactly the same as Fiat manufactured ones - but I have 1 second hand Fiat, one of the ones from that site - and you can't tell the difference when you look at them!
