Technical Leaking Sunroof's aragh

Hi,

I have a 2002 mutlipla, both sunroof have been disconnected and both leak.

I have tried to reconnect sunroof but they still don't work.

I have tried to tape up roof s but water is still getting in. The glass inside is sopping wet.:bang:

If can open the sunroof i could try and clean and lube up. But someone really clever has siliconed around edge of sunroof making it even harder to open sunroofs so when I get a free day I will need top remove and try manually open up.:worship:

You know that in most cases the leak is between the black surround and the painted roof, NOT between the glass and the rubber seal?

As widemouth says the leak is normally from the rubber seals that surrounds the metal roof lip itself. I used Captain Tolly's on both my roofs over summer and they haven't leaked again.
