Technical leak from water pump...

After doing the belts tensioners a nd water pump I noticed there was a slight coolant leak and today I investigated further to find I'd caught the bloody o ring and its had it...now what to do?
Where am I going to get another o ring or should I just smear liquid gasket everywhere instead?

I did exactly the same when I changed mine. It started to leak after a couple of months so I bought another pump to find it was just the o-ring.
As for where to get an o-ring that size I wouldn't like to say though I'm sure someone on here will know.

They sell O rings in multi-packs, I know you only need one but it's cheaper than a new pump. You might also try Halfords who do a large O ring set for 1.99.

I've managed to re glue the o ring and used liquid gasket on the mating face...
If it doesn't work...ill do it again when I get home...
I am now proficient in cambelt change for the multi!!

Well it didn't work...typical..a week later it decides to leak again that's after I put liquid gasket all over aswell...
What I want to know is will I get away with just loosening the cambelt? Or will I have to remove everything again!
