Styling £40 to spend, on what??

If you do I will throw in free postage and a "TCE" (chemical engineering magazine) wall calendar complete with adverts like "NEED PRESSURE RELEASE/VACUUM PROTECTION VALVES? Look nowhere else!"

Well that £40 isn't the whole story though...

The fuel lines were cut so I had to fix them (at a cost of nothing at all). The timing belt tentioner was loose and the timing was out on the rear cam so I had to change the rear head and tentioner for a spare we had lying in the yard (£85 for those bits and the gaskets). Had to put new boots and bushes on the front for the MOT too (which was an extra £35) so in truth it cost closer to £160 with a new MOT.

Plus yours is a '92, this was only an '89. Looked lovely in black and went like stink!!

For £150 you could get a Lancia Delta GTie (I did, but that is another story)

Ugh!

What can I say? Fit these to your Uno and make it look like it caught a disease! Still, my Taste Police say "no". Other people might like them else they wouldn't have made them in the first place.

Way too 'Bling!' for me.

Why not buy a couple more Italian cars? I've paid £30 for an Alfasud Sprint, £40 for a 164 3.0 V6...

£30 and £40 for a Sprint and a 164!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is WAY cheap. Please tell us where you find these cars so cheap!

Sprints are nice cars, but it's getting VERY hard to find one that hasn't rusted to bits in the UK. The 164 is superbly built, and a fantastic car in 3 litre guise but expensive/ complex if things do go wrong. And insurance is still prohibitive for most people, sadly.

I thought I did well buying my '86 Uno for £46. You did extremely well there! Any pictures of the cars?
