Some of you may have heard of Kop Hill. It's one of the oldest hillclimb's dating from 1910, and an accident in 1925 led to a ban on road racing in the UK.

It's been revived as an event & is now in its 5th year. You get to wander road fantastic old cars in the paddock, watch stuff going up the hill, and do a bit of celeb spotting.

More info at:

This isn't really a Panda thing as such, but I'm a couple of hundred yards down the hill from the paddock! If anyone wants to meet up give me a shout. If I know in advance we can set up an impromptu display on the grass outside my house - it's getting so popular that everyone parked there last year, but I can always fling half a dozen cars out there early to reserve space!! :D

Cheers, Gavin.

P.S. you can't go up the hillclimb that weekend as our cars are too new. Any other time of year it's a public road though...... A good test of a car even today! (y)

I went to this last year or maybe the year before!? Was a really good day out and very relaxed atmosphere (y) all sorts of cars from Martini racing Deltas to Ferrari 288 GTO's to Bedford lorries and old route masters etc.. The ecurie ecosse jaguar cars were even there on the original transporter!!
They set up stands along the side of the hill climb course so you can look over the hedge and see the cars racing by. Good day out!
