Got a Bravo 1.9 Not too sure what this noise is exactly coming from the engine compartment and is new, but seems to be vibrating even when stationary when I rev almost like the sound, like someone's put a thick stick against the cooling fan and a dull knocking sound accompany it, vibration seems to be travelling up the clutch pedal and changing in the low gears this sounds worse at the moment, this doe's not effect how the car performs, but drove back tonight with caution! Hopefully? become more obvious in day light first thought was some loose component like a starter motor/alternator or something against the fan? But seriously worried that it might be the clutch/ clutch cylinder or linkage or even worse the gearbox! Only had the car 4 months or so love it, but run out of dealership warranty unfortunately! Process of elimination I suppose!

Might be nicking my partners Panda, if not solved shortly!

Re: Knocking Vibrating noise from Clutch Fly wheel

Just talked to the local mechanic who's a bravo lover, that it's the dual fly wheel making the noise and best at this time to leave it alone until something more major happens as will cost over £1000 for a replacement, but suggested to get a different replacement of a more normal common fly wheel, if it could be sourced? Something to do with the springs inside with this sort making the noise he said! Thoughts please! Is this a common problem with them?

Now the noise completely stopped and back to normal, maybe it just un-stuck it's self?!

But looking into this mass flywheel sticking issue and replacement clutch parts the cost is not too much, if it did completely go! £150+ for a fly wheel, complete clutch kit £200+ plus labour/DIY
