Key code light came on and stayed on

I have a 96 N reg Fiat Brava 1.4 driving home from work last night the orange key code light came on and stayed on.

When we got home turned ignition off and was expecting it not to come back on, but it did.

I have 2 blue and one red key, does anyone think this is a major prob for me to worry or simply a glitch, it didn't come on this morning.

Is it connected properly, are the fittings nice and tight?

Has the car been stood awhile?

Like i said its normally the battery doing that but it could be something or nothing. More to be nothing really.

I find if i turn my key in the ignition on and off quickly several times my key code light lights and i cant start the darn car until i take the key out and put it back in.

Don't try this at home kids.

The car had been standing a while before I had new battery, but since I have had the new battery it's being used evry day, doing 60 miles a day...just lately it just seems like its one thing after another!

When this happened yesterday it made me realy panic!! Was terrified that I would stall the bloody thing and it wouldn't start again!!

Will see what happens on trip home tonight!!
