I want to get my dials back in at long last, so earlier I improvised with some blue plastic from the wrapper of some Persil washing tablets, to make the headlight bulb appear blue to match. Works a treat (and I don't have to mess changing the bulbs now either)

I was thinking I'd like to get this piggyback fitted asap but I wont have my B+C cams or supersprint manifold for while since they cost £££. I phoned Dastek and got the number for my nearest dealer, I rang them and they quoted me £200 + vat for fitting, rolling road tuning and a wiring loom thrown in which they could have delivered overnight. If I get this done first will it have to be done again once I get the manifold fitted and then again when the cams are put in?!

Yup, but it should only be 50 or so the next time as it takes best part of 2 hrs to get the darn things working in the first place.

Ok, I don't mind that to be honest as it will give me a chance to really see how much difference the manifold and cams make individually (and a pretty print out ) Tom what do you mean it takes 2 hours to get them working?!

You have to wire it up bit by bit, you don't just snip the wires and connect up the lot in one go. Then you have to setup the box to work with the specific engine ECU config, then finish the wiring, set the rev ranges etc.. then tune it.

Hence the £200.
