Hi everyone,

Placed an order on a 1.2 lounge over the weekend. Bit upsetting that I have to wait 8-10 weeks to get it :mad: this is because i've ordered the car in tech house grey (which I'm told they don't order in for showroom cars) and because I want the interior black rather than the average ivory. The reason behind this being I thought the ivory would get grubby quick, so i was a bit pit off. I guess I'll just be stuck driving my ka for a little while longer!!
 
You will enjoy the 500 a lot over Ka. My OH did the same thing and she loves her 1.2 Pop.
 
The wait will zoom by in no time! I was the same as you about the ivory, but I decided it went nicely with the volare blue and took the plunge. I keep a packet of wipes in the car, and haven't had a problem with the ivory bits looking grubby after nearly 9 months of driving.

I've done the same with the iPad, along with a few others in this forum. Best thing is to expand the screen to make the icon bigger.

I'm ordering mine on Sunday and I really can't wait!! But I know what you mean, I'm also a little impatent and want it now. Plus since my lovely little 02 reg Punto quit on me two weeks ago I am with out a car!

Always wanted a Fiat 500 and can't belive that I am going to get my very own!! Roll on Sunday so I can get my order in!!

It will be 2 weeks since ordering on Saturday and to be honest it has flown by! Only 6 more weeks and counting!!
 
Hi - you may not have to wait that long. I ordered my black 1.2 Lounge 4 weeks ago and it is already this country and in transit to the dealer. I may pick it up at the weekend or next week latest! (y)

Your car will most likely have already been in the queue for production so your dealer may have been able to just change a few options and been able to get it faster for you. That's why you will get yours quicker.
 
Yeah I'm trying not to think about it too much and trying to ignore the fact i've ordered it until I get 'the call'. I'ts just a shame when the weather is like and i'm stuck with my old Ka!! :)
