Nice one, that is the same we are looking for too... Hope it gets here soon.

Did you get any good deal / things thrown in?

Hello Aikidoamigo,

Thanks for your reply I went straight onto the privilege program so yes I received an excellent discount etc, I will keep you updated, have you ordered your Panda 4x4 yet, I would recommend the winter pack, heated windscreen, and heated front seats, by the way I'm a Ju-Jitsu and CQC man myself.

Makes a nice change to not have to explain the amigo bit... Lol

I've had the run around today via dealers not being able to find current cars.... I was worried myself about losing the opportunity on the privilege deal at the end of this month; anyhow just given a deposit to secure 'Antarctic something' spec tbc.... Hoping they can find me one with the winter pack, though it does seem they are a bit like hens teeth. Hope to know exactly what we will be getting before the weeks out.

Originally was going to hold off for the new Cross but time was dragging and to be honest I think at 16k it is a high list price for what is supposed to be a 'small car'.

Ive just joined the forum and I've just ordered a new panda 4x4 in white with the winter pack and spare wheel, delivery between 8 - 10 weeks this will be my first ever fiat.

Well done! Which engine have you gone for?

Both are excellent, but have quite different characters :D

My previous car, an Alfa Mito, had the 1.3 Multijet, but
I'm now enjoying the eclectic joys of the Twinair in my
Trekking :) (now up to 13000 miles)

And happily, am now getting similar economy with petrol!

The Antarctica is a special edition to celebrate 30 years of the panda 4x4.

The spec isn't to bad.
Choice of 1.3 mulitjet diesel (around £1000 more than) or the 85hp TA petrol.
Diesel has 5 speeds, TA has 6.
One colour option of white with black roof and orange mirror covers.
Dark diamond cut alloys with orange centre caps.
Dark tinted rear windows.
Orange trim seats and door cards.
Drivers seat is height adjustable.
Silver "frosted" dash surround.
Blue & Me.
Air con.
Split rear seats with three belts.
Special 30° badge (yes, just the one) on the drivers side B pillar.
(° isn't degrees, but seems the foriegn way of writing "th")
Two lazy Penguins.

Options were limited, very limited.
You have the choice of selecting a leather steering wheel and gear knob and most dealers will evict the penguins for you FOC.
I think the search for one with winter pack is a none starter.

Its the TA 0.9, seems there are a few diesels out there but maybe we got the last unregisted TA 'cause it proved hard to find.

Seems winter pack is not even an option on the Antarctic.... only the leather wheel.

Fingers crossed should be in our hands before the end of the month.

It doesn't have the leather wheel... Anyone know how much it is the buy and have the dealer fit before collection?

Cost of the leather steering wheel

The leather steering wheel and gear knob is £105 extra, they are factory fitted :)

Re: Cost of the leather steering wheel

I had read somewhere on here that they can be retro fitted by the dealer. Ah well, guess we will have to do without... will spend our time looking at the 'Ice Frost' centre piece and dash surround instead. ;-)
