Just bought spark plugs, are they good ones??

Hi all,

I just bought bosch spark plugs which were £19 from halfords. They offered me kgn ones ( i think thts what they are called) but i chose bosch ones as the man said theres no point putting them on my car??

Did i pick the better choice??

Whats your engine and whats the Spark plug part number on what you bought?

They are probably alright but fiat fit NGK from the factory and recomend NGK.

Halfords will have probably given you the right part but eBay, shop4parts and others Will easily smash Halfords on Price.

Bear in mind for the future that Hellfrauds at best offer over-simplified, general one-size-fits all advice, (see their dodgy in-store car lubrication guides as an example) and are often just plain wrong.
Also, they are rarely the cheapest/most cost-effective option for general service items, although the convenience factor can offset that.
