Further to the mile long thread earlier has anyone seen or used one of these lighter to lighter chargers? If so are they any good, as they may just save all the issues brought up about flashing ECU's!

I might just buy one a test it out.

Lighter

Surely you cant put much current through the lighter circuit. I always thought they were for really **** old cars that go flat every night, and were designed to just keep it topped up.

I reckon if u had a flat battery u would have to have the lighter to lighter connected for well over 2 hours. With the jump leads i used to start mine it took 15 minutes, as they were cheap ones. Still the wires were a lot thicker than the lighter socket!! The lighter socket in my peugeot used doorbell wire! I doubt the fiat will be much thicker

:)

But if u get one let us all know!
