Technical Juddering - only when hot

I have a marea weekend 1.6 and it has just started to play up when the engine get shot (after about 20 minutes of driving).

When it is hot, it judders when you try to accelerate. Take your foot of the gas and press it again and it is ok (sometimes have to do this 2/3 times). The rev's stay the same and it is as though the car is pushing back.

I have replaced the coil, plugs and leads, cleaned the air filter etc and it is still doing this.

When the car is cold there is no problem whatsoever.

Anyone got any ideas ??

Have you had the crank position sensor checked. These are often affected by heat and can cause the symptoms you have.

It is booked into the Garage on Tuesday, but wanted to try and fix it myself if I could.

Is this sensor anything I can check, or does a mechanic have to do it ?
