Stilo Jtd trouble

Hi I'm new on here ,,,,, I'm having trouble wth my stilo jtd. Lack of power / turbo lag. It drives nice and smooth but bigs down and take off. And I think
It's lacking boost. Checked the actuator it's working

Pull plug off maf sensor first and then drive it. Easiest check to do.

Hi where abouts is the maf located ?? Also there's a loose pipe. Off the main pipe from the air box it's thinner than the one which goes to the turbo

The maf sensor will be in line with the air pipe directly after the air filter. You'll see a plug with cables connected to the air pipe. As for the loose hose, you need to find out where its come off. It'll be there for a reason.

That lose pipe should go to a oil trap stuck onto the bottom of the air box.
The maf is between the air-box and turbo and the plug can be a right pain to undo as well.

If you don't have the oil trap you need to seal the end of that pipe because that will act as a hoover and suck up all manner of nasties and destroy your turbo if it already hasn't and could explain why you haven't any boost.

Thanks for that. Have been under it today but couldn't locate where it came from. ,, would this just being loose affect the boost. ?? Not sure how long it's been off .
