JTD tax

its nearly time to get my new car taxed and on the road!
and just wondering what the cost is going to be, log book said CO2 = 143 g/km which would give -
Bands CO2 Emission
Figure (g/km) * diesel - 12 months 6 months
Band C 121 - 150 = 110.00 60.50

thats the same as i was paying on my 1.4. i was expecting it to go up quite a bit!

is this right?

yeah thats right, i went 1.4 to JTD too!

Still cant get used to the tractor noise tho!

Just make sure that the car was made after March 2001.

If it was before March 2001 then you will be paying the standard rate and not based on emisions.

nice one, chuft with that! though i was going to have to pay nearly 100 quid for 6 months, might treat myself to 12 months then now

Yup, My Bora churns out 149g/KM CO2, which also puts it under the £110/year tax bracket.
