Hi guys,

my JTD105 engine got one injector with small leaks of diesel. anyone has drawing of removing the 2nd injector?

what likely will be the problem? i think the injector assembly itself is having a small leak.

your help is appreciated.

thank you.

injectors have a rubber ring on each end to make a fuel proof seal. if the fuel rail is not secured tightly (try tightening screws) then fuel can seep out from the rubber rings. also the rubber tends to perish over time. if the fuel rail and injectors have ever been moved or disturbed it is wise to replace all the rubber rings (cost very little at dealer). remember the fuel rail builds up a high pressure so it doesn't take much to cause a leak.

hi jug,

thanks for your respond. i had a check at the diesel common rail at all the injectors and it is not leak from the fuel inlet. i think the injector itself is leaking. can i do something with the injector itself. any parts can be changed.

hi jug,

forget about it...i did a double check again today and the injector is o.k. it is the valve cover gasket leaking engine oil.

will get a replacement n get it done... nothing serious... (y)
