Just a we note to let you all know that we travelled from Edinburgh up to the Isle of Skye and back on half a tank of diesel. Not bad eh?
Normally we use most of a tank, because from Stirling to Skye is like a 150 mile long tarmac rally stage, real foot to the floor stuff. It's an absolute classic drivers road.
But this time we never took the revs much past 2000 and didn't exceed 55mph.
By the end of the week we had managed 700 miles from one tank.
