This weeks poll. Which would have been on yesterday had my computer not decided to throw the mother of hissy fits.

Anyhoo, a simple one this week

With all this talk of the credit crunch and the recession, are you still dissapearing on summer holidays?

I don't normally do the holiday abroad thing so can't see this year being any different

Have been abroad only once and that was to Austria for a snowboarding trip in 2004. Great fun and paid less than £170 for the full week incl flights, accommodation and only spent like £100 when I was there. Great fun

Wouldn't mind going abroad again, but at the moment and foreseeable future, I just can't afford it. Plus I need to get my passport sorted. Quite fancy a trip through the Alps though...St Bernardino Pass comes to mind

Not booked anything up for this summer yet, however we are deffo going to try and get somewhere booked up later in the summer or in the winter.

Not really due to the recession or anything but more likely the fact that I just bought my first place and cash is somehow just vanishing from my bank account on a daily basis lol.

Personally I would rather cut back on some of the other luxuries in life in order to allow us to go away for a week or so later in the year. However having said that the car has been a major pain in the arse, cost over £300 this month alone in repairs/maintenance etc.

I have to be honest and say that I haven't really been hit by the credit crunch *touch wood* - if anything I have had more money due to the fact that I will now have a shop around before I buy something.

Im not going away anywhere for a holiday as such, used up almost all my days from work when Claire had the bairn, and with her being ill previous to that, got a weekend @Crail in August thats all the break im gonna get lol

Anyway, even if i had days to take, have yous seen the prices for taking 3 kids on holiday?!!!!!
