well said, but im not guna do it was just a yes or no question

There is nuthing wrong with asking a question.

Question you should be asking is.....

Can u just lie about your NCD to a company who u "know" doesnt check unless there is an accident? Keep the car u want insured off the road for a year. Get your renewal through with 5 NCD then go from there!

Answer is...........pm me. Hahaha. Kiddin.

You cant. Because if u have an accident within 0-5 years of you lying, they ask you to prove the last 5 years (whether you have 10-15-20 NCD) and if u cant do that...... u either get your insurance voided, or u have to pay all the missed premuim since u lied. Always a thought tho.

what you're talking about doing is called ringing, the fact is that you're driving the car under the incorrect index number. If you were caught doing this you would be charged with driving without insurance, and possibly an offence relating to changing the identity of a vehicle without informing the DVLA, for which you could probably expect a hefty fine. IMO its definatly not worth it.

If you want an answer to your question, the answer is yes. It's perfectly possible, and highly illegal. The recommendation from anyone in their right mind is DON'T.
