I had a Uno, E920 RNG, for 15 years. I sold it to a friend who kept it for 2 or three years, he sold it to a neighbour whose daughter learned to drive in it and then bought it back after some time. Finally he sold it to a workmate.
I kept the car well maintained and all it required, apart from brake pads, tyres and suchlike, were drive shaft gaiters and a distributor unit. It was a wonderful cheap car to run.
Our new Panda will not be as reliable. The front suspension, for instance, appears to be designed to cost money in tyre wear and joints (and they are not replaceable bits on the suspension arms, you have to have the complete arm!
)
Does anyone know if the old Uno is still up and running?
