been looking at some pictures of lowered bravos because i want to get round to doing mine soon,

but some that have been lowered don't look much lower than mine :chin:

any issues with a 40mm drop?

Sport models are lower yes. 4cm drop isn't going to cause much issue to be honest, if you have speed bumps around your area that will probably be your biggest problem, but for ease of mind why not check the clearance of the bigger bumps in your general journeys, just get out and see how close it is to your bumper when above it. If it's more than 40mm. Go right for it.

I wouldn't check this at rush hour though. Try late at night with minimal traffic on the road.

I have had my normal active spec model dropped down by 30mm on eibachs.

It's fine for normal driving, but when my two mates got in the car those rubbish little two "half hump" things hit the underside of the car making a horrid noise and potentially causing damage. With a "load" in the car I had to slow right down and go over them sideways rather than straddling them like I'm sure most people do :p
