Does anybody know if it's possible to connect your iPod or iPhone to the rt3 so you can listen to mp3's?

Thanks Fran but do I need a cable, ie aux jack plug to connect iPhone or iPod to?
Thanks again

For cheapness you could try just connecting a lead ( mini jack) to phono into the video/audio socket of the RT3. You'll find it in the glove compartment on the passenger side, but your RT3 must have the video input icon visible in the menu for this to have a chance of working.

The module in the link wold work best with the Bluetooth option but it will cost more!

Thanks will have a mess about but don't want to spend big bucks really on just getting iPhone to play through rt3 and don't want to buy one of those crappy fm tuner things as had one before and they are crap

The cd changer is old pointless technology now so it's no loss to use the port, would still like to see it working on a eurovan2 though, especially earlier models with Rt3 units.

I agree about the cd as on a mp3 your pretty much spoilt for choice as to how many songs you can have at hand

Fran is there any other way of connecting iPod cheaply as no video point in glove box and has 6cd multichanger though, is there anyway of connecting a lead to back of multichanger or rt3 unit?

Are you sure? Have you to the colour screen or monochrome small screen?

The cheapest other way IS the fm transmitter route, I have one, it works okay and cost less than £10

It's the monochrome small screen and I've already got a fm transmitter but I've noticed on eBay a aux cable that you can plug into back of rt3 just wondered if anyone had experience of these and if they worked?
