Apologies for putting this here, but I've put the query in the ICE section and not had a response. I've just bought an iPod Classic, connected the USB into the socket in the glove compartment, but can't get anything to play.
I've selected MP3 player from the Menu, but still can't get anything - I've only owned the 2007 GP for a few months and may be doing something wrong, so any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Thanks Ian. Apparently I need Blue & Me software version 5.4 or 5.5 as well, how do I know if that's on my car seeing as I only bought it a few months ago?

You should be able to use the iPod classic with no issues, as the classic iPod is seen as a hard drive by the blue and me. There should be no need for the adaptor, works just fine in my mjet sporting.

Ipod classic works fine in my t-jet too without an adaptor, but I usually have to wait about 5 minutes for it to load or recognise that it is plugged in.

Thanks for replying guys. I did actually purchase the adaptor and had the software installed yesterday, and everything is working ok (cost £112 in total!) The only thing is that I can't get the track listing etc on the CD display, but it's on the dashboard display via the menu button - am I doing something wrong as the car is still a bit new to me.

Cheers

Fiat charged me £54.75plus VAT for the adaptor (the price on their website) and £30 plus VAT for installing the software. As you might have noticed I'm not a tecchie,so was happy to get the software installation done by them.
Any thoughts on the CD player display?
