ipod/i tunes help

right, i have an ipod and my car cd player has usb in for the ipod.

i plug in the ipod and i can flick through the songs.

somehow on my cd player it puts it into 6 albums and the songs are in no order at all.

the order is complelty different to shown on the ipod screen and on my computer, if i put new songs on it, they get losts randomly in the 600 odd songs and only way to find them is to go through every song.

any idea how/why it does this, no idea how it works.

like mine, You might need to select the playlst/ album/ artist or whatever you want to listen to before you plug the usb lead in.

As if you jus plug it in straight away, it jus shuffles the songs i think

its controlled by the headunit but u can just go up and down albums and songs.

its controlled by the headunit...

I think it's controlled by the headunit, so it doesn't matter about the iPod. I would imagine that the iPod just appears as USB mass storage to the headunit.
