went to buy a relay and the man laughed at me. :S . he says i dont need a 70A relay for a 600watt inverter. the car wont beable to recharge the battery quick enough when im using it otherwise so either hes talking **** or im buggered.

can my battery and alternator take. 1 cable with a 30amp fuse another with a 40 amp fuse (it does so far) but also with the inverter on it which i guess will have a 70 amp fuse in it if i got a 70 amp relay.

Your car will be fine, don't panic...lol

600w is the max it will output it won't be running at 600w perminantly...

I know maplins sell the fuses, upto 100A from memory.

Smee, the guy is talking arse.

Did you ever change your plugs?

Try Farnell

They sell sell them, look at part number 959145 @ £6.22, not sure what delivery will be though

i did nothing happened. i got 8 plugs. after crimbo im going to take my car in for tints. these are the guys who did my alarm so they can have tha hassle of working out the code so i can ecu reset. and when it does that i get the plugs in. also still need to sort that filter out. its seems to be getting louder the dirtier it gets

well im confused tom. i cant find a 12v relay for 70A anywhere

I would recommend you don't get that relay...

Just by the look of the connectors, i wouldn't have thought they could take much more than 40A.

Just my 2c.

I wasn't talking so much about the relay, but more the blade connectors, mine have 35A stamped on them...

Daz

thats the wrong relay anyway.

Look at the vehicle-wiring-products one.

As it states that it can take 70A i'm sure it can, it can also take an inrush current of 150A.

Considering that this 70A is the max it will see and probably not the nominal it should be fine.

The 5th terminal on this particular relay just appears that it has a dual output on it
