Internal repair!

last weekend I was transporting some 8ft 4x2 wood in my wifes punto grande. I shoved it in against the front window and the two pieces fitted OK. Anyway, as I was removing the wood, the damn stuff slipped and put a deep starrish shaped scratch/dent in the grey plastic surround above the CD player. Can anyone recommend best way to fix as I am in doghouse..

Some of these smart repair guys can fill, texture and spray plastic if you can't get a new surround. Probably cost £60 to do something like that.

Thanks folks, ******! the wood cost £7 ish, so now well out of pocket!
