Recently there has been a really annoying sound coming from around the glovebox are, possibly behind it, possibly near the speaker, possibly from the vents, I'm not too sure!

I've uploaded a recording of it.

I usually have my vents blowing on me, rather than the windscreen or feet, but at the weekend my g/f switched it to the windscreen and it seemed to stop. Having tried that 'trick' a few times now, it doesn't work so I think that was coincidence more than anything.

Anyone have any ideas?!

It is an alarm buzzer watch :)

Sorry...I know it is not funny, what about temperatures? Is it better while it is cold or warm?

It sounds more like the climate control actuators to me. Does your car have climate control?

Sounds like a climate control actuator.

See this thread, post 4 https://www.fiatforum.com/bravo/353735-air-vents.html

Yes, it has climate control. I just put my head under the glovebox compartment and couldn't really see what I was supposed to pull out with regards to the b & m ecu.

Having read that thread it doesn't look like an easy fix, so may take it to my local garage. Its not a massive issue, just annoying so I'll try and get it sorted when I have time

If it's the climate actuators then the parts from Fiat are very cheap. There's a thread on here with the part numbers you need.

OK will mention the actuators when I take it in. I trust this local garage I go to- there have been a few times in the past (not with this bravo but my peugeot 206) where a dealer garage told me x y and z needed doing, took it to this garage and they said it's a load of crap, only x needs doing, even when i've specifically booked it in for all 3.

So with the weather cooling a bit, well a lot, I put my heaters on for the firts time in a long time. This seemed to get rid of the buzzing noise. I have it booked in at my local garage for Friday, but does the above bit of info help to narrow down what it could be?

When I stopped off at the garage earlier to book it in, the guy couldn't hear the noise due to the heavy rainfall- I could still hear it but it seemed to disappear when I turned the temp up.
