Put the mats into the car today, and noticed a couple of scuffs where it had been a showroom car for a time. Tried getting them out with water but no use, any ideas what I should use, they arent scratched, just scuffs.

For plastic parts on the doors/footwells then a 10% solution of all purpose cleaner in tap water (1 part cleaner, 9 parts water). Tesco sell one called Daisy for 87p for 1.5litres. Asda smartprice range has one cheaper too.
For painted parts then regular car polish

For plastics, Autoglm vinyl and rubber dressing usually does a good job of blending in minor scuffs.
