Injectors

my injectors are on there way out anyone got any ideas on how much its gonna cost me and is it an easy job or a garage job? its a 96 1.6 lx with 75k miles

well its £86 for 1

so ur looking at £450 including labour!

Just had it done to my 1.6 16v, still coverd by the garage so not to bad.

Never done them before Tom. i normally do things like brakes and fitting lowered springs myself. I live in Newark Notts.

Do you know if a garage has changed them before? I'd be amazed if its on its original injectors.

I replaced mine a while back, got them direct from a Weber supplier (BHB Engineering in Southampton as its local) for £65 + VAT each.

dont know if they have ever been changed? put some redex in and now after about 100 miles of running them on red light its gone out and its running fine .

When does the red light come on? Only when you accelerate?

not any more, it was on constantly but now nothing. it was stood for 13days. must of just been crap in the fuel its the only thing i can think of.
