hi all ,
having a prob with my 1.6 mutipla on w plate , the clutch went a few weeks ago whilst driving to work had to carry on driving it for 2 days until i could borrow a car ,oh the joys of having to turn the engine off to change gear lol lol
Whilst sitting in traffic my bf noticed it was juddering a bit so revved the engine (a lot) to my disgust and the injector warning light came on .............. reading manual says take car straight to fiat ( where they will charge an absolute fortune to fix the prob whatever it may be ),
anyway clutch got sorted £ 220 not to bad ..... but car still real sluggish and seems to have no power as the injectoer llight has come on that this is obversaly the prob ie they r blocked so got redex to clear them 1st BOTTLE NOPE..... 2nd bottle NOPE ..... 3rd bottle NOPE someone said try cataclaen it much better 4 cleaning out blocked injectors got and NOPE hasnt made a blind bit of difference ....gonna take it too my machanic this weeek and hopfully he will be able to figure out the prob was just wondering if anyone has had the same probs dont really wanna be spending out a fortune to replace injectors if i6t could be something eles first
many thanks

Hi,

Try getting the code from the computer, via Fiat or any other. Could save you a lot of work.

I got mine running on three cylinders and really hesitating acceleration, and the check engine light was also on. Turned out to be a Open-Circuit at the injector no. 1.
I had to pay a decent amount to get the codes from my Fiat dealer.

I replaced the injector, because I couldn't find anything wrong with the wires.
The faulty injector measured also only 12.1 ohm while the healthy ones measured 14.7 ohm with a multimeter
