Injector light after 'stat change?

Hi, wonder if you guys can shed any light...

Finally got round to changing my thermostat this morning. Got that done, bled the system and everything was as it should be except that the injector light is now on.

The car's running fine, no symptoms of a failed injector (replaced all 4 about 6 months back). I know there are a lot things that the light could mean but is there anything that's likely given the work I've just done? Only thing I can think of is that I knocked a wire or connection around the ECU and damaged it.

Any help much appreciated.

Danny

P.S. Great guides/useful threads on this site. My 'stat problem was diagnosed and fixed based on info from this site.

Check the ECu connector and do a ECU reset !
If the fault was just a glitch, it will remove it.

+ what engine is it ?

sorry. It's a mark I 1.6.

I'll try a reset and stick a bit of contact cleaner on the connections.

If the fault has gone away the light will go off. The light does not remain on after the fault is fixed.

You've either not connected something back up or broken a connector.

Right again Tom,

Went out to disconnect the batt and noticed that I hadn't pushed the connector on the thermostat on all the way. I can be a complete numpty sometimes. ;)
