injector?ems?

Have had a BRAVO 16 ON A T reg recently been diagnosed as having a injector prob by FIAT, AT A COST OF 450 TO SORT IT THEY ARE SAYING THAT I MAY HAVE TO HAVE THE E.M.S electric management system changed as well costing me another 500? car started to loose power after 5mins driving and misfiredthen almost stoping, question is ?whats the chance of it sorting with new injectors without the ems?

EXACT symptoms are..

been running well then started to misfire no power pulling away gradualy getting worse .pulled over stoped the engine then started it again and it was fine for about 2miles then same aain

Does the injector light come on at all?

sorry mate miles away!no warning lites ..no fault shows on fiat diagnostic

I doubt its an injector.

Have they checked the fuel pressure and the spark leads?

put it in a dodgy garage serviced it chaned the cambelt didnt sort it ,now with fiat checked it out and sugest i change injectors and ecs electric control unit? told them to just do the injectors?
