Technical injection system malfunction

just bought my first fiat marea 1.6 16v sx and this light is lit, does anybody have any ideas to what this maybe. bit of info on car: when started it chugs like its misfiring and as its running the same power comes in chugs. any help would greatly be appreciated.:bang: :bang:


also is there any common fault here or is it fiat dealer time

yeh likely coils, not a big job nor cost

dunno about the 1.6 but on my 2.0 20v the injector light doesnt come on when the coil pack is disconnected.....

check that the injectors (i assume its MPI) are connected properly.
