Hello, Sorry for not doing intro for first post but not got time on my side as car is due in for MOT tomorrow.

When i use the indicators, LH side works as it should outside but inside i get both indicator tell tales flashing, RH works but flashes too fast and both tell tales flash, i have checked and cleaned all connectors and bulb holders, replaced a couple of grotty looking bulbs, cleaned and refitted earths 2 in boot next to each cluster and 2 under bonnet near lights.

Only bought the car recently and managed to strip down the gearbox, replace diff and rebuild it but i'm stuck on some lights!!!!!

What happens when the hazard warning switch is used - do you get the same problem or is it only when using the indicator stalk?
This does sound like an earth problem, although you've covered most of the bases already. I'd also run another primary earth strap from the battery to the chassis as these can corrode badly.
Might be worth taking the indicator relay/timer out and cleaning the contacts.

The hazard lights work fine, so its pointing towards either wiring or the indicator stalk, i'm going to get a new flasher relay and haynes manual then take it from there.

You won't find a Haynes manual for the Multi (which is probably why this forum thrives).
Triple check the earths before you commit to the new relay, don't forget the side repeaters, however flashers going too fast are generally less caused by less resistance in the circuit, i.e. When a bulb has blown and there's 25w less resistance.

The indicators now work as they should, should the indicator tell tale flash both sides regardless of which way your indicating?
