Immobiliser

Just bought myself an HGT and my insurance company want a Thatcham approved immobiliser fitted. Anyone know if the standard Fiat one is rated by them. If not can anyone recommend a good one. The car is a 97 HGT. Also where can I get one of these window stickers to make it faster?

Hi Jim, no the standard Fiat alarm is not thatcham rated.
I had a Toad Cat 1 alarm/immobliser fitted by A2B Factory Direct. It cost me £250.
Give them a call on 07957337317 i'm sure they can fit something that suits.
They'll also come to your home or work place to fit it.
As for the window stickers you need Rob D (Although i'll be seeing him next weekend, i'll get some off him and e-mail you).

The fiat standard one on the car is Catorgory 2,my insurance company says so and fiat also said. Phone fiat yourself if you are unsure still.
