alright im new to this site, so im just sayin hello. ive got a forest green uno 1.0ie start 5 door.

the uno was standard wen i got it.
just done small bits to it.
colour coded the wing mirrors, wipers, thing that the front wiper is conected to and the part that the lock on the boot conects to.
got the front wiper staying in the middle. had to put sum seat covers in (couldnt stand the originals)cut out the black plastic grill on the bumber and replaced it with mesh. also cut the fiat badge and the bar thing out from in between the lights, and meshed that aswell. here are sum pics.

hopefully tomorow im going to be de-striping the side strips and debadging the back, also im going to cut out the fog light parts on the bumber and mesh them out.

That looks like a very clean Uno there :D

Just a suggestion but replacing the front indicators with clear ones would be another future mod, brings it a bit more up to date.

Liking the grille :p (ive done the same!)

Got any plans for some alloys?

Oh and welcome to the Forum! :D

Not really lookin on spendin much money on it at all, but im most likely goin to get the clear indicaters, found sum on a site for about £30.

dont think i want to pay much for alloys. but the original wheels are far too thin. my mate has sum punto wheels and tires, that he dosnt use anymore. for the moment im going to try and put them on it. i think they should fit.

Yeah, they are very thin - what mine came on, but it's now on a bit more substantial 155s. However, I can't remember what I found out to be 'correct' in the end!

(btw; I drive a 999cc 1.0ie START 3dr)

They should fit, PCD is 98.

Punto wheels will fit fine, tyres might be a bit bigger than normal Uno sizes but will be fine too.

Take it there steelies not punto alloys?

It will be cheaper to get the clear indicators off a higher spec Uno on a scrappy, Uno 70s and Turbos came with clear front indicators as standard. I didnt want to fork out 30 squid on new ones so found some on a scrappy.

lovin the front grill!!! i am gonna do that to my grill but how do u fill in the holes when you cut the badge out of the middle?? was it hard to mesh the front bumper?

its quite easy to do, only took a couple of hours, just cut out wot u dont want, then fill in the holes with sum body filler (P38 body filler) u should be able to get it from most car shops i think its about £4 takes a few mins to dry then sand it down with sand paper to make it smooth, primer it, then spray it. my bumpers and grille had sum little clips that stick out in the back, which ment i could just cut small holes in the mesh and push it on the clips. i rapped sum metal (unfolded paper clips) on the end of the clips jsut stop the mesh from falling out if it would of.
