Hiya guys, just found you so though i'd say hi.

amongst other cars i drive a 1.4 brava, which is used as my daily runaround, jsut failed its mot though unfortunatley on the grounds of that the exhaust is rotten. do any of you know where i can get a new full exhaust system for the least effect on my wallet possible.

i only want it cash and carry as i can fit it myself, i'm in yorkshire so local would be good but if the price is right i'd travel for it.

try a scrappies/breakers, see if you can get one from there.

Is it the cat section thats rotted?

If its not...leave that bit out and dont mess with it!!!

2 mot stations have told me that the exhaust is buggered, and completely rotten through, unfortunately didnt say or think to ask at the time whether the cat is dead or purrfect!
