Technical identify My Engine number

Hi all is it possible someone can identify my engine number with the year & also what g/box it is linked to?
The top row 123 A1 000 then underneath looks like 9 but not sure then 677264
I need to buy a new rocker gasket not sure which one to go for cork or whatever is best & should I use gasket seal?
Barry

Your engine number tells us that it is a 652cc '126'engine. As far I am aware, the chassis number is traceable but not the engine number. If your number IS starting with a '9'that is a very late engine as the 2 652cc engines I have both start with a '4' (47##### + 46#####).
As for the rocker cover gasket they are the same for either engine, but I woud go for the 'rubberoid' gasket rather than the cork variety. They require NO gasket seal---just make sure that the rocker cover is sitting down well and clear of any shrouding (they often sit VERY close to the thermostat-housing shroud)
