G Gurjit Guest Aug 15, 2003 #4 Idling speed Had the same problem on my Brava 1.8. The idling speed jumped to 1,500 to 2,000 RPM. The mechanic pin-pointed to the throtle body which was full of dirt. Cleaning it solved the problem.
