Stuck in heavy traffic at Petworth last weekend. Needless to say, it was on a steep hill with a tee junction at the top, which was also log-jammed and by the time I had inched my way to the top, the clutch suddenly started to smell and slip.
Managed to pig my way out in order to keep moving as had I stopped, the traffic congestion would have been horrendous, and I would have been mortified!!
Once out of the congestion the clutch cooled and so far has been ok, but am keeping close eye (or foot) on things. Just hope flywheel has not glazed. Anyone else experienced this?
