Dont know all that much about ICE, but wanted to buy an amp. I have already infinity 6x9 and component kit and was going to buy a sub eventually, so the amp i would need would be a 4 channel???

Where is the best place to shop for infinity amps??

Cheers for all the help

If you want to power the 6x9's, components and sub you may be better getting a 6 channel rather than 4.

As for places on cheap infinity's - pass

Sorry for hijacking alittle but if you wanted to amp the front components and the rear speakers aswell as a Sub/Bass Box how many amps do you need or will a 6 ch AMP be ok?

They do reference (lowest), kappa and perfect (best), as far i a know...

For every speaker you need a channel.
So for a pair of componants you need 2 channels.
For a pair of 69's you need 2 channels.
For a sub you will still need 2 channels but wired together (called bridged).
Basicaly this is were the power of both channels are combined and are wired as one, ie the + of channel one will be connected to the - of channel two.
(Make sure the amp you get is bridgeable).

So for what you have at the mo 4 channels would be fine. To add a sub you will either need a seperate amp or a 6 channel amp for the lot!
