The focal access are the arse end of the focal range, for the money they are darn nice speakers but the tweeters can sound a bit harsh if not setup properly.

Some people like rear fill, some don't. The only speaker in the rear of my car is the 12" illusion sub. I like an upfront soundstage and rear speakers ruin it.

I still need to do some tweaking but at the mo the music sounds like its coming from about the middle of the bonnet.

Well I do sort of have a budget to keep to and I guess that they are v. decent for the money.

They are better than quite alot of the others in the same price range. The bass could be better but they are nice and clear.

the front and back of the setup will be open so there will hopefully be enough room for air to pass. if not i'll have to put some fans, but i really don't want to as the inverter and one amp already have fans so it could get quite noisy.

@Ian, sounds like it's going to be quite a setup, i ordered some phase liners for the front and will have my 12" pioneer in the back, which should do me i hope!

the fan on the inverter is on the side with the 12v cables btw.

the cat is going to be used to test the volume, if it comes out the boot deff i know its working
